The Styrian BBG Baugeräte and its French subsidiary FAVRE are known as very successful niche players for pneumatic tools and special machines for the pig iron- and steel industry.

With an outstanding market position in Europe, BBG develops, produces and distributes low vibration and low noise pneumatic hammers in 10 different weight classes. Further, the product portfolio contains pneumatic and hydraulic tap hole drilling machines for blast furnaces and non-ferrous furnaces, machines for repairing tapping holes with electric ovens and steel converters and special products for mining purposes. Innovation- and planning processes in cooperation with customers safeguard optimal product solutions and increase competitiveness in the areas of metallurgy, drilling technology and structural engineering.

Additionally BBG is cooperating with universities and technical institutes. This leads to creative solution statements and coincidentally forms the basis for highest quality standards in research and development.
