The HTI-Group serves the growth potential carrying markets lightweight construction, engineering and energy technology. In particular, HTI targets customers in the automobile industry, the aircraft sector, the construction industry, the pig iron- and steel industries as well as the energy management in areas of application such as shipping, railways, airports, shipyards, hydroelectric power and public facilities e.g. hospitals and data processing centres.

• LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION
  Lightweight construction is the issue for the future – light materials save energy and preserve resources. HTI - already today - is a leading supplier of lightweight components. In the coming years, this know-how will gain increasing importance also in many other business fields, like for example energy technology. Also the automobile- and aviation industry demand more weight reduction in order to meet the request for more energy efficiency and preservation of resources. Because of our experience in the area of lightweight construction HTI is in the position to design our products lighter and therewith more energy saving and environmentally friendly.
   
• ENGINEERING
  Customers worldwide demand more cross-system materials and cross-technology products. HTI has taken up this trend and combines the most different technologies, materials and production processes to become innovative products. By doing this, for example a special production know how from the plastics sector can be put into operation in the aluminium sector. This enables HTI to conquer substantial market shares in various niches due to the new solution statements. Being a full-line provider, HTI accompanies its customers during the whole value-added process – from the idea to the finished product.
   
• ENERGY TECHNOLOGY
  Scarcity in resources and climate change enforce a rethinking regarding energy supply. Technologies for efficient, environmental friendly and economic use of energy are the main issue. The HTI-Group already has a significant market position in Europe in regards to generators for diesel-electric locomotives and with power supply aggregates for air fields. Medium-term, the high technological competency in this sector also opens the doors for further growth carrying businesses in the aviation industry but also in the public sector and in the field of uninterruptible power supply systems. Therefore, HTI can contribute towards more energy efficiency, directly due to solutions in the fields of energy technology and indirectly because of the use of new materials.
